“我畫的唯一主題是女孩和她們的身體”

女孩和她們的身體被視為符號形象由來已久,經典名畫中的女性形象也多是來自貴冑名流的消遣娛樂,或是以其為理想典範所描繪出的夢幻形象。然而女性個體與群體的內在空間,卻被放逐其外,是蠱惑炫麗的神祕之境。

在蘿密娜蘿密娜此展,Giuseppe Biguzzi通過作品向我們展示了女性的多種樣貌,以單人出現在空間中的蘿密娜、兩個蘿密娜、三個蘿密娜….,分別表述了— 對自身的缺乏互動與否定 ; 自省時的孤獨與投射 ; 以及在處理人與人之間的雙重性關係。這些像浸泡在青色濾鏡中的身體向觀眾展示女性獨有的曲線、誘人姿態,她們的動作肆意蔓延,卻表現出肢體上的冷漠,臉的輪廓和目光迴避著畫作外的世界,不對任何觀眾作出回應。藝術家更在她們身上揉進了棉質衣物跟花布紋理,表現出日常生活中存在主義的戲劇張力,讓她們好似真實可觸,卻又被帶著挑釁的冷,給若即若離的回絕。

“生活是一種耐心的遊戲” 蘿密娜如此說著。

Giuseppe Biguzzi的畫並不描述空間,而是透過一律冷灰的背景組成一個自由的國度。女人穿過日常,並與安靜、孤獨、不安、悲傷相連,隨著身軀的重複出現,這些分散注意力的身體強化了自我的缺失,彷彿靈魂正呼出那令人不安的記憶裂痕,迷失在解離的焦慮中,迷失在思想和生活中的道路上

藝術家不挑戰男性的觀看模式,也不積極地找回女性的能動主體,只將一些平凡的女性形象赤裸地呈現在我們面前,通過這個形象,試圖展示當代社會日常生活所產生的情感狀態



The only subject of my paintings is girls and their bodies

Woman becomes a symbol of denied identity, made up of forced and illusory emancipation, apart from its own nature. Consumer society assigns to women trivial values which are used in every form to promote commercial products and vacuum dreams.

In this exhibition, Giuseppe Biguzzi tries to express diversity women, his painting is consist of single figure, double figures, three or four figures: The painting with single figure represents self-denial and lack of interaction;The paintings with double figures is about introspective solitude and thoughts;The paintings with three and four figures deal with the duality of the human being and his guilt. These bodies show themselves to the viewer, soaked with livid colors, following the paths of a metamorphosis from which the whole process is generated.

“Life is a game of patience”,said Romina
The woman’s faces in the painting are always painted in profile or turned downwards and their gaze do never meet the viewers’ eyes. Giuseppe’s paintings show woman’s suffering, lonely, disturbed and sadness, with the twisted figure and the cold-gray background. When we look deeply on Giuseppe’s paintings, it seems that we lost in a free space where the voice of the soul whispers, and lost in the road of thought and of life.

Giuseppe does neither challenge male point-of-view, nor actively retrieve female active subjects. Instead, he uses some normal woman figure to show the emotional state in this contemporary society daily life.《Romina》will be officially opened on 23th December.
